WELCOME to the blog for ECLC's 2024 Border Immersion Trip! A group of seven will be traveling to El Paso, Texas the week of February 3-9 to learn more about immigration issues and connect with our siblings in El Paso. The pastors of Iglesia Luterana Cristo Rey, an ELCA congregation, will be our leaders. We will participate in bilingual worship at Cristo Rey, listen to personal accounts of border life, meet with local social justice ministries, visit the border, and more. Check back here each day that week to learn about our experiences and reflections on this trip. Camilla Madson
